Project status

In-progress: On-going and current projects.

Upcoming: Confirmed projects, discussion yet to start.

Under-discussion: Projects that are finalized and the discussion going on the requirements and goals.

Completed: Projects that are successfully delivered.

Closed/Canceled: Projects that have been dropped or left incomplete due to uncertain circumstances.

Project type

Fixed price: Does not exceed the quotation price. Once the price is finalized the entire amount is paid at once or at the start of the project or before or after the handover.

Hourly: Payment is done based on the hours employees are spending on the project.

Recurring contract: Payment is made every once a month.

Adding projects and assigning employees

Step 1: Log in on the Teamtrace portal.

Step 2: On the Navbar, click on the dropdown of ‘Projects’. To access the project section click on ‘Projects’ under the dropdown list.

Step 3: To add a project to any section click on the ‘+Add’ button while shifting the just by clicking.

To add a project:

Step 1: After hitting the Add button, the Add project screen will open. Provide the project info and click on Save and Next.

**You must fill up all the mandatory fields to get access to the next screen of assigning employees.**

Step 2: To start assigning employees to the project click on ‘Search Employees to Add

Step 3: Select from the list of employees based on the skill requirements of the project and click on the add button. You can also filter the search by employee name, Department, and Skills for more specific results.

Step 4: To add more employees configure the list by clicking on the ‘Add’ button. Also, Mention the Tech stacks should be used by the specific employee while assigning.

Step 5: Store the project-related documents securely. Shift the tab on Project Documents and click on ‘Add’.

Step 6: Provide the necessary details in the mentioned fields. Here to keep more documents within one folder click on the ‘plus’ sign beside ‘Add more’. If the document needs to be password protected turn the toggle on. Set the password and complete the process.

How to insert the document?

  • Click on ‘Choose File’ in the section Upload Attachment

  • The drive window would open

  • Select the File, you want to upload

  • Click on Open

Additional features: Search any document by its name using this section.
